The Droughtmaster Next Gen is the junior (under 30 years old) division of Droughtmaster Australia. Established in 2018, they are a member-driven organisation with an enthusiastic Committee, passionate about the future of the breed and the wider beef industry. Next Gen offer youth members a fun forum through which they can meet and support one another to pursue a common interest in Droughtmaster cattle, the opportunity to develop friendships with peers and build relationships within the industry, and increase further development in the wider beef industry. They also create opportunities for education in the areas of showing, judging, and animal care, as well as coordinating networking opportunities.
Many Next Gen members will no doubt go on to be leaders in the industry.
